It's really weird; I got back into HTTYD by watching Avatar: The Last Airbender (the series, not the crap-ass movie) all because I thought "Wouldn't it be cool if Hiccup were a waterbender?" so I've been on a little craze lately (when's HTTYD coming out on DVD? I want it SO bad...) I actually had drawn two other pictures like this one earlier, but I ended up not liking them and did this one. I wasted a whole day trying to decide if I liked the picture and ended up drawing a new one afterward; I was finally satisfied this morning. I really love how this turned out although I totally fail at these characters XP Hiccup's waterbending outfit is based off of his flying gear and Katara's Book 3 battle outfit (she first wears it in the Day of Black Sun episode). I think it looks really cool, even better in color! By the way, in case you were wondering, that thing on Hiccup's back is a water skin; it's to make sure that he always has some bending water no matter where he is

The water took me for freaking ever! I swear, my wash tool hates me... I couldn't decide on a background color or just leaving it white, so I used my trusty pre-made gradients! I really love how this all turned out. Enjoy!

But then again, water is about change (isn't it?) And Hiccup pretty much changes the whole 'Vikings slaying dragons' thing...
I dunno
